There are different kinds of irregularities.
Some verbs are irregular in the Yo form.
Other verbs are what we call “stem-changing” verbs.
They really aren't irregular, rather they are a specific type of verb. Stem-changers
have vowels which either change to a different vowel or to two vowels when conjugated.
We have already seen one "stem-changing/irregular yo form
verb": Tener!
