Workbook Assignments

Spanish1O1A covers Chapters 1-7 inclusive in the textbook, workbook and lab manual.

Spanish 1O1B covers the remaining material, Chapters 8-14, in the textbook, workbook and lab manual.

Workbook assignments are found in the first half of the Activities Book. The pages at the bottom will have "WB" before the page number. There is an answer key at the back of the workbook. This is so you can check your answers to see if you know the material as well as you need to for the exams. The Answer Key does not rpovide answers for all exercises. Many are suggested possible answers from which your answer may vary. Feel free to write questions about your answers in the workbook and I will answer them.

Correct all workbook exercises carefully, using a pen or pencil of contrasting color to make the corrections.

Please work on workbook chapters on a daily basis. DO NOT wait until the day/night before a test to do the workbook chapter, and DO NOT do an entire chapter in one session. This will make the grammar seem overwhelming and will neither help prepare you for the test nor produce good workbook results.

Copying the answers from the back not only is a violation of the Ohlone Honor Code but also is a poor way to prepare for the exams.

Workbook chapters are DUE on the day of the chapter test, and are to be placed on the homework chair before class begins.

Please note: when workbook chapters are handed in, please staple the pages together. Write your name on the pages. Late or incomplete workbook chapters are not accepted. Uncorrected or carelessly done chapters will receive little or no credit!
